Digital Transmitters
 
 

Generals. The new TDTU 2 Transmitter is fully compatible with the international DTV standards (DVB-T, ATSC, ISDB, etc....) and suitable for SFN (Single Frequency Network) and MFN (Multi Frequency Network) applications.


Output Power. The TDTU 2 has an output power range of 2 Wrms. The Transmitter is fully broadband in the whole UHF band.


Digital Modulator. The TDTU 2 is equipped with an “high performance” digital modulator DVME-16 fully configurable, compatible with the most demanding requirement of Digital Television Networks.


Fully frequency agile. The Digital Modulator has an intuitive and easy to use interface to select the frequency without any readjustment needing.


Digital Precorrection. A powerful built-in linear and non-linear precorrector allows to optimize the perfomances of any digital transmitter maximizing at the same time the output power, so extending the transmitter coverage area. The Digital Precorrector settings are made by means of an easy to use and highly intuitive graphical user interface software.

Phase noise. Very low phase noise oscillators allow to optimize the BER and MER performances.

Analog compatibility. The TDTU 2 Transmitter is also available in a correspondent analog version easily field upgradable to digital into the same rack or in dual-mode configuration locally and/or remotely selectable in analog/digital operation for maximum flexibility.


Metering. Full transmitter metering, control, setting and system diagnostic available in the front panel and (optional) remotely.

Filtering. Critical mask and non-critical mask filters available.
